Timeline
16:00
Grab dinner at Dalesio's. It is just an 11-minute walk from the festival venue. The portions are huge, but they offer low-calorie dishes with the numbers printed right on the menu, so you can enjoy the carb-loaded Italian food without the guilt. The kitchen is open until 22:00 on weekdays.
17:00
Walk 25 minutes south to Federal Hill Park. This big hilly park is one of Baltimore's best points for picture taking. It overlooks the Inner Harbor with great views of both the north and south skylines. You will notice the cannons all seem to point in specific directions, adding to the historic feel of the spot.
17:30
Finish the evening by walking 10 minutes back toward the venue area. Sabatino's has been serving authentic Italian cuisine for more than 60 years in a comfortably casual yet upscale dining room. It is the perfect place to wind down before heading into the festival.
Local tip
The walk from the park back to the venue area is short, but ensure you have enough time to get to your seat at the venue if you have a specific show time. The views from Federal Hill Park are best just before it gets dark.
