Local tip
The walk from the library is significant. If you are staying closer to the park, start your countdown from there. The food spot is open from 09:00, so by the time you finish watching the sunrise and walking there, it will be open.
Check before you go
- Lavas Bistro / Fasali Cafe opens at 09:00. Arriving immediately after sunrise (around 08:01 in January) means you might wait a few minutes for the kitchen to open, but it is worth it.
- The Central Library of Science is the starting anchor, but the actual viewing spot is Philharmonic Fountain Park. Check the route from the library to the park in advance.
