Pick up a coffee or a light snack at CupCup to start the evening. It is open late, so you can grab something early and head out while the sky is still bright.

    Mehdi Hüseynzadənin Heykəli

Walk to the Mehdi Hüseynzadənin Heykəli. Arrive just before the sun dips below the horizon to see the monument in the fading golden light. The park is quiet here, a good spot to pause and take in the view before the evening crowds arrive.

  3. 18:08

    Finnegan’s

Head to Finnegan’s pub near the Philharmonic Fountain Park. It is a short walk through the park. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it is a good place to settle in for a drink as it gets dark. Note that the wine is pricey, but the beer prices are reasonable.

  4. 18:38

    Terrace Garden

Walk to the Terrace Garden for dinner. This restaurant offers a chance to see the Baku scene while you eat. The menu features European and Azeri cuisine, making it a solid choice for an evening meal after your drinks.

Local tip

The walk from the monument to the park is pleasant but takes about 43 minutes if you go directly through the green space. If you want to keep it short, stick to the main paths. The Terrace Garden is a bit further, so give yourself enough time to enjoy your drink first.
