Walk three minutes to The Gandy Dancer. It is in a former train station near the tracks. If you prefer seafood, check the buffet here. Otherwise, you can just grab a drink and watch the trains.
21:09
Find a spot at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival viewing area. The sun sets toward the WNW. This is the main event of the evening.

End the evening at Grizzly Peak Brewing Company. They serve their own brews and have excellent food. It is a short walk from the festival area.
Local tip
The festival runs from mid-June to mid-July. If you are there during the day, the performances are indoors. At sunset, the outdoor viewing is the highlight.
