    Café Smit & Voogt

Grab a strong coffee and a pastry at Café Smit & Voogt. It is just a minute’s walk from the Hortus entrance, and its timber booths are warm and inviting before the day gets busy.

  2. 15:57

    Hortus Botanicus

Enter the Hortus Botanicus as the golden light hits the glasshouses. The morning sun illuminates the collection of more than 6,000 species, creating a quiet, serene atmosphere before the midday crowds arrive.

  3. 16:42

    De plantage

Finish the morning with a leisurely breakfast or lunch at De plantage. The big restaurant offers a nice terrace in the summer, but the indoor space is comfortable year-round. It is a short four-minute walk from the garden.
