Ride 20 minutes northwest from Merah Putih Bridge to reach the forestry area. Pay the Rp5,000 entrance fee and walk down to the refreshing natural pool below the waterfall.
18:30
Find a spot near the water's edge. The view looks west toward the setting sun, so you will have the light reflecting off the pool before the sky turns dark.
18:45
Watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW, casting golden light that fades quickly after 18:45.
19:30
Stay for a while after the sun dips. The area is quiet, and the pool remains cool. Take your time before heading back toward Merah Putih Bridge.
Local tip
There are no food or drink shops listed in the immediate vicinity of the waterfall. Bring water and snacks with you on the motorcycle ride from the bridge.
