Walk up Anzac Hill for the views. This historic hill offers good perspectives of Alice Springs and some local history.

Stay on Anzac Hill until the golden light hits. On 15 January, the golden light starts around 18:54 as the sun sets toward the WSW.
Local tip
Bring sunscreen to the botanical garden if you visit, but for this route, the hill views are the highlight. Check the route for transport if you need to get back down.
