    Skovmøllen

Grab a bite at Skovmøllen. This restored medieval water mill serves creative twists on traditional Danish lunches and hearty weekend brunches. It is the perfect spot to fuel up before the walk, with the menu available from Wednesday to Sunday.

  2. 15:46

    Moesgaard landscape

Walk 12 minutes east from the museum into the Moesgaard landscape. Follow the marked Prehistoric Trail down through the southern part of the Marselisborg Forests. The path leads you away from the building and toward the coast, offering a quiet transition from the museum grounds to the natural edge of the woods.

  3. 16:16

    Moesgaard Beach

Arrive at Moesgaard Beach for the sunset. The sun sets toward the SW at 16:16, casting long shadows over the clean sand. This is the cleanest of the local beach sites and offers an unobstructed view of the light fading over the water.

  4. 16:31

    Moesgaard Museum

End your evening by returning to the Moesgaard Museum. The architecture is striking in the twilight, and the central staircase offers a place to rest and reflect on the day’s journey through prehistory and nature.
